Item Attribute "Willpower Regeneration" affects only the Stat "Willpower on hit" also Edit: Boss unkillable

i just realized that the all the item attributes for "Willpower Regeneration" do not actually affect it. The Willpower Regeneration in the details of the character sheet stays fixed at 70 all the time. Instead the "Willpower on hit" stat is being enhanced by the same percentage or amount. Its the same for fixed values on Items as well as for gems in sockets.
Although this is kind of off topic: I hope the error lies not within the Name of the attribute but in the code. Playing a mage-type character felt a lot better, when you could actually enhance the regeneration. Since the possibility in the Gates of Fate was reduced by a lot with the major content patch and the Item attribute does not work, I had to rely on a lot of auto attacks and potions to replenish resources during my play through. That was especially annoying when theres a lot of Stuff to evade and only few auto attacks were possible. The fights felt artificially stretched and not very rewarding.
Edit: Just faced a boss in an expedition that was not "killable", partly because of this issue. He was regenerating and also tough if i saw it correctly. While i was dodging and auto attacking to get Willpower he regenerated so much, that in the 5-10 minutes of fighting that i survived, i only managed to reduce him by approximately 1/8 of his total hp.
