When wearing this, equipping new gear with more toughness will not properly increase your health, you need to re-equip the chest to see the health increase. You also don't get your force shield back when you unequip this item.

FYI this is now happening when exiting Apocalyptic Forms. I have died repeatedly because I am focusing my survival on Force Shield but using an Apoc Form zeroes out my Force Shield until I unequip and re-equip an item with Force Shield in order to get my full force shield back.
