So I have killed him many times now, he dies (1st phase them it all respawns and the 1st phase start all over again. tried logging out, still now joy.

Can you provide more detailsabout what happened ? Did the cutscene between each phase triggers for exemple ?

Exiting game fixed it. It looked like when I rolled as he died it reset to phase 1.The cut scene triggered at the end of phase 1, then end abruptly and kicked back into the phase 1 part fight.
