the node when allocated takes away 98% of my poison damage. It makes my damage very low. I wish i could upload images but hopefully the numbers show the problem

Without the node on bleeding edge skill details i have
total damage: 19521 -25202
rend damage: 14181-19400
poison damage: 5126-5459
frost damage: 88 = 151
lightning damage: 127-191
weapon damage: 290%

with the node ON i have
total damage: 14497-19071
rend damage: 14205 - 18584
poison damage: 77-145
frost damage: 88 - 151
lightning damage: 127-191
weapon damage: 257%
