Several times now, I have seen a floating portal (I am guessing it is the "exit on completion" portal) sitting just off the accessible part of the map or on a ledge of rocks in the desert tileset (enemies are usually Alpha Sviirs, Beta Spawners or Deta Spitters). It is always in the southeastern part of the map, but in the interior gap area (not completely outside the map itself).
