you can go trough the red portal after defeating the boss but nothing happens there, and you can't leave anymore.

Hey guys! Found the solution on discord.
"Bug: @ui_A1_Q5_S12_StepNameLabel
you have to leave the game to the main menu, change the game mode to Soldier of Fortune and enter the game again." - CoTTo
Edit: To clarify, we beat the game. Soldier of Fortune is all that's left.
