Same issue.
Already restarted a new character, since the other character is also stuck (chapter 2: "talk to mercy"; got disconnected from internet for a moment, come back in. talk to mercy, first phase should begin, but instead doors are closed, cannot get back into there, so thought to start another, but alas.; now stuk much sooner at the exact same point you are.I didn't get disconnected though, i had to log out for a moment.

As fun as it is to play the same map over and over and over and getting nowhere I´m not gonna start over again. I´ve done the main campaign before but seeing how buggy and gamebreaking the "bloodtrail" mission is I won´t bother.
Just got back to the game again after a long break, saw the new content and was intrigued but for now it will be an uninstall again.
At this point I´m not even interested in the new features and skills in other game modes, this is just too annoying.

And no, restarting the game does absolutely nothing either. There´s just no quest giver anywhere or a way to get past it.

Just realised why I had to restart in this bloodtrail: I couldn't get past an invisible block in svir caves II. So this is 100% game bugs... the one causing the other.

Game should have a restart current mission or store and restore everything you need to continue mission at current state. ( for me the drake guy was missing after coming back.)
