gate in act 2 isnt opening,anny suggestions??? 20/12/2020

ACT 2 Darkest Dusk Quest Sanctum of Hope GAME BREAKING BUG (ONLINE mode)
I just returned after a long hiatus to try the Bloodpoint Chronicle content. Important to note I am playing in ONLINE mode where this problem is happening. During the Darkest Dusk quest at the point you reach the hallway with the teleport at one end and the door to the "remaining brothers" at the other (there are no enemies in this small area) i am having a game breaking issue happen.

1. The teleport lights up but if I use it OR town portal and then try to return the world map shows that teleport grey as if its not activated. I did notice you can click it and it will still work to return there however if you were to end the game and renter you will then also be put back one step in the quest to the previous teleport and lose that progress from Vault to Sanctum of Hope.

2. This one is the game breaking problem though. In the hallway with the teleport that is bugged and at the other end is the giant door you open to speak to Gernese as part of "find the remaining brothers it will not under any circumstances open. It does not even have the yellow outline to interact with at all. This at the moment is game breaking as you cannot progress.

I have done all the usual stuff. I exited the game. Switched from Story mode to Normal and Private and Public games. Loaded a diff characteer then went back to the one I am having this bug with.

ive seen this issue when researching it but almost all the hits are from February when the game launched and solutions were kill the game and restart or edit your save file and theres only a couple from the last few days. Because i plany Online mode I cannot do the Offline mode trick of editing the save file to set the quest one leg beyond where im stuck to get me past that door.

Has anyone else hit this game breaker in act 2 recently since the new content and fixes were added? I am speaking only of ONLINE mode examples since offline seems to have workaround fixes.

Would joining another persons public game who is at the same level range etc as me be able to sneak past it if we are doing that quest on their instance of the game? If so its a shame as everytime i look for a public game it ends with none found so it loads my broken instance of the game as default.

Sorry for the length Im just trying to make it as detailed as possible to save you all any questions. Thanks in advance if anyone can help
