Bugs While Trying to Play Through Anankis

  1. The first time I tried getting through the dialogue between the Cultist and the machines bugged out. I could only hear the first sentence of each dialogue bubble that popped up and it took FOREVER for the conversations to complete. I hope that makes sense.
  2. I reloaded the game from the main menu and lost some progress and waypoints. This time there were no mobs anywhere in the world, no NPCs, enemies, nothing. Loot was still dropping out of chests, but I could only loot gold if I manually clicked on each pile.
  3. I reloaded the game once more and enemies were back in the game. However, I could do no damage to them. I could only CC them. Decided to give up after this.

We've just tested and it seems to work fine, it looks like it could be a file issue on your game install. I'd recommend to use the steam integrity check to verify everything:

Regarding #3, I had the same issue but I realized that I had activated the Material damage node in the skill wheel (I don't know what it's called and don't have the game open). This was preventing me from doing ANY damage because my skills themselves I had changed to fire and lightning (forgetting I'd done that). Once I remembered and changed the skill back, I did damage.
