i am also having a similar issue, and i also have an AMD FX processor, I'm hoping this is addressed by the devs soon to fix as i would love to play this game

I am using FX8350, 12 hours playtime offline, 0 freezes.

/edit 12 hours offline, 4 hours online, 0 crashes 0 freezes 0 issues aside from server connection issues

there are issues with intel aswell, cant play more than 30 seconds until crash and sent to windows....

yes i have the same issues with my AMD Fx, can't play online ore offline.

i hava amdfx8300, rtx 2060 , 16 giga ram , win10 and i have drop fps 60-30 fps and lag and crash

I'm also having this issue both in online and offline modes. I found that if you install the game on a standard HDD (instead of SSD) the issue is more manageable to at least get in some playtime, but be warned it will be tedious and frustrating to play. You'll need to constantly monitor your disk utilization and when at 100% stop playing for about 30-60 seconds until it drops to 50% or below (to be safe) then continue playing. If you keep playing while your disk is at 100% it will freeze, crash or cause hang time.

This is by no means a work around, but it will allow you to get in some playtime until the devs can properly address this issue.

I also have an AMD FX 8320 chipset. Freezes every 40-80 seconds.

I have the issue with an FX8370. Waiting for a fix.

Same issue with Amd 6300. still stuck in act 1 at level 1 cause i freeze the entire time and disconnect

Same issue. AMD FX-4350 quad core. Pretty much going to have to refund this game, hope that steam lets me with 10 hours played. The freezes get worse in act 2, and basically turns the game unplayable.
