When trying to play online mode, I get a pop up banner saying there is a new update, please restart the game to download the new update.
This does not do anything, except close the game, and there is no update.
You can now only play if it is in offline mode.

Thank you for reporting this SeVen, this was due to a delay in our server update. This issue has been fixed now, so it should not happen again!

I am currently having this same issue. I've been playing for a few hours. My game crashed, I submitted the crash report. I tried reloading the game and it now tells me an Update is available and will not allow me to play in Online mode. I tried to update it through steam but it tells me there are no updates.
I am only able to play in Offline mode, I have no desire to do that.

I too am having this issue on steam after the server take down. Supposedly they are back up but it is saying there is an update and to restart game. There is no update on steam.

same here, saying update available but nothing in steam... I havent got to play online once since i bought it
