Weekly disussion round!

Hey hey!

I am not sure how far everything in the game is already devolved but
I would like if we do some kind of weekly discussions about different topics after Cp1 launched. For different reasons:

1.
We get more people into the forums and the community gets here together and just saying its a better place to reread stuff or look for something as in discord.

  1. A lot of different opinions about different topics and thats good to devolve creativil and also to see what the player base are looking forward to see and wish in the game.

  2. Players are happy if they are asked for their opinion and love to be in touch with the devs.

As a example:
- make weekly poll's where players are asked what they would love yo discuss about the most!

  • create a topic here about that topic and announce it on discord/steam and lead them here.

just some thoughts i had. Feedback and opinions are welcome

That's a general status for us: we like to have players opinions on the game and I'm taking note on all the feedback provided. I answer when I can but not all the time, an Official's response can stop or twist a debate and that's not what I want.

Even if some ideas might not fit the vision for Wolcen or might present some major issues for the balancing, I know by experience that the smallest suggestion in the middle of something incompatible can be very interesting to implement :)

And of course, if I feel like the debate could use a push because you lack information about our objectives (and that would be understandable on that point since everything is not yet implemented), I'll answer to provide you with the elements needed.

So yes, go nuts! Provide feedback and suggestions, debate on them, we read everything and we're always taking your opinion into consideration ^^ A lot of changes have been made for Content Patch 1 thanks to all the feedback and suggestions made by our community, and we don't intend to stop listening to you.

maybe i organize my idea on my own somehow and see how it goes! I'm glad you re listening and i am sure this will lead to good experience for all of us. can't wait for the patch! thanks

Your idea is awesome but i did have a quite bad experience in the past. You see i have played a lot o games and i always remember the good stuff that a game has, so i take some ideas from other games and i change them a bit to see if they can fit in to the Wolcen's universe. For example i had some cool ideas about a PvP System for Wolcen, the PvP System was so detailed that it was hard to explain it only with words, so i used Photoshop and i created 4 videos talking about the 4 different styles of PvP Systems that may fit the Wolcen's universe. After that i expected from the community that we could discuss about PvP but instead i got answers like:

  1. You like PvP? Go and play WoW.
  2. Shame on you promoting your Youtube channel

I don't really see how you can make any conversation with that kind of people.

Hey!

first thanks of your feedback on my thoughts here and yeah i got you. But i still hope there will outcome good discussions and feedback for the devs. Probably even better outcome if they discuss with us so people see its not for nothing at all.
I will think about that till the patch drops and maybe i go for that idea then with after i got some impressions of the game right now!
