Hello, new player here

So far the game has been enjoyable except for some huge difficulty spikes like Edric or mistshaper Malikia that felt pretty unbalanced.
Speaking of unbalanced, I noticed that I can skip all boss fights by just changing into aspect of war, hitting five times with frenzy and one shotting the boss with the pillar of fire, dealing an obscene amount of damage. Last boss I did that on is Lambach.
Is that intended ? Is that the same with all aspects ? Because it literally feels like cheating.
