Bow weapons and skills seems pretty weak

I don't know if it is only me, but I find playing bow to be pretty weak. The damage output is not good enough compared to spells and melee skills.
I am comparing to my other two characters which are clearing the same content maybe 2 times faster, doing more damage with gear that is
appropriate for their level, nothing fancy like legendaries or uniques, just blue / yellow gear.

I got Ivakins, which shoots 3 Projectiles. The bow itself seem to be week, but adding 3 Projectiles with the added 37% Crit chance you might be able to make this a good bow.
Other than that I got a legendary bow doing 50-109 damage with a 36% Crit.

Both at about level 20. Sounds not too bad to me.

yes bow is weak, 1 legendary pistol is alrdy enhough to beat a bow, the extra projectile is nice for your skills but then we also need pierce or more damage, or we need new unique bows with multi shot

That unique bow has low base damage, but the +2 projectiles somewhat compensate for that except for certain skills like gunslinger's brand where it does nothing.
