Feedback on a few skills
Here's some general feedback on skills I've used so far. been playing for about a week, and about 4 days at vet levels.
Wings of Ishmir (Warpath benefits from this as well).
1) There seems to be a "dead spot" after you land where you can't execute skills. In higher level situations this can be deadly for a melee toon. It makes the stun mod almost required. Either the dead zone needs to be eliminated, or the stun made baseline. Died far to many times due to that w/o the stun.
2) Movement mechanics needs to be an iFrame during the movement. Warpath has a mod for it, but both need it as base. it's simply silliy that the only abilities melee have to get out of the nasty require either passive points or points spent on mods to make them useable in melee, when they're a melee only skill. should be invunerable during the travel at least. ESPECIALLY since most bosses can't be stunned during ANY special move they do, it feels like were purposefully being punished for using these moves in melee. or allow us to stun bosses as much as they stun us...But then boss fights would be easy mode, so it's probably better to just give us iframes on those 2 movement skills.
Avenger's Autoturret
1) really needs the auto-target baseline. it's non functional w/o it. Sure you can hit mobs pretty hard if they run through it, but that's rare, and it is honestly faster to just kill them with auto attack then hope that the turret hits them. It's a waste of a GCD. Even if you still want to keep it as a mod, make it a low level mod for 4 pts only, and adjust the damage to compensate. I'd rather have a weaker turret (initially) that can actually hit things then a stronger turret that doesn't hit squat. As long as the damage eventually evens out to be the same at lvl 20 its fine.
Bkeeding Edge
1) this probably fits any melee skill we have to activate, but the animation stops us from moving. not a huge amount, but it's enough that it can cause deadly issues in melee situations. Find some way to allow the animation to go even if were moving. Having the animation there is not the issue, it's the fact that we have to plant ourselves just to initiate the skill.
