In the details of the skill, what damage types do you see? Maybe check that!

Not sure about the visual part, but it proc on Immortal Offering so I assume it's working

@Dd - well the skill description states ;-

Effect: Converts base Physical damage to a random Element.

I am sure when I used it prior to patch you could quite easily see the different elements as it hit mobs whereas now theres no visual indication.

The skill hit's that fast due to my level it's actually hard to see now but let's just say it used to look like an explosion in a paint factory !! ;)

I was talking about the damage NUMBERS in the details, to see if you get the desired type of damage or not. ;)

It can fires 5-6 projectiles of the same element simultaneously. Not to mention some element like cold, lightning and statis also have somewhat similar color tone. I remember it easier to notice the different between elements so maybe they tone them down to improve performance. Easy way to see if they're working or not is to shoot on the wall and watch the explosion effect.
