Having a more streamlined skills

I have observed that most Rogue skills can only be used using a specific type of weapon like daggers and other melee weapons can be used. I can't seem to understand why in case of Slayer's Flurry, a Bow can be used but a One-handed Sword can't be used or a dagger can use which obviously a skill made for Blunt weapons such Anvil's Woe, and Bladestorm which is obviously for edged weapons can be used using a Mace or a Hammer, why not just name it Whirlwind or something. What I'm trying to say is to enhance the skills in such a way to make it streamline on what weapons can be used realistically with each skills. Also, for me, even if Infinity Blade is a spell, I think it should be possible to use it even without a Catalyst.

as far as i know devs are working on it as right now dagger is most powerful, so u can expect changes

The idea behind the weapon requirements is their version of the classic warrior/rogue/wizard archetype, to give skill selections some class-theme to them. Catalysts were implemented after all the other weapons were to enable hybrid builds, but because skills involve summoning weapons instead of actually using our equipped weapons, their requirements seem a little irrelevant. Still, a full-mage build that could cast all of it's spells while holding a two-handed sword would be a bit atypical.
