Pets

Hi,

Loving Wolcen guys. Such a fun take on the ARPG genre. Looking forward to sinking many hours into the end game. I am fairly early in the game at the moment (still working my way through act 2).

I do have some small feedback on pets. I started trying to use the 3 pet abilities.

Feeding Swarm
Hunting Swarm
Livor Mortis

I think that Livor Mortis is in a fairly good place but descriptions for selecting modifiers don't seem to respond or add much clarity. Particularly the "increase health" modifier because it doesn't make the Health number on the side increase or decrease with selection. Also the AI seems a little slow to react sometimes. Would love to see them a little more aggressive to get into the fight without me being right next to the enemy.

The other two (Feeding and Hunting Swarm) seem much less viable. HP seems a little on the low side. I don't expect them to be Livor Mortis Tanky but they just seem to get stomped. The modifiers again don't seem particularly responsive. Would love more information on their skill screen.

Would love to see the damage numbers for both, even if its just in the tooltip, so i could determine their worth over other skills. Overall not a huge problem because my character does ridiculous amounts of DPS anyway but it does leave a bit to be desired.

Overall still fun to have in the game. Livor Mortis will still be on my bars but I am going to put the others skills away for a while. I am a sucker for pet builds but there is so much to do in this game that I am more than happy to come back and try them out later :)

I have to agree, I haven't tried Hunting Swarm, but when I tested Feeding Swarm, it had about 300 life, when the Livor Mortis had like 10k. So the zombies are far too squishy. Course from looking at the passive tree and item mods, there doesn't really seem to be hardly any pet scaling, so I expect they are going to be fairly worthless, except maybe the Livor Mortis as a distraction.

I agree with OP.

Along with pets, I think there should be something added to the UI to indicate health and how many I have out, like a party icon. Every game I've ever played that has a pet class has this.

Also, there needs to be some kind of pet buffer implemented regarding distance. This is to avoid pets stacking directly on top of one another preventing us from seeing how many are out there. I've recast zombie hundereds of times so far only to realize they were stacked.

also plagueburst's modifier exploitable meat doesnt work on ANY summon, hell it doesnt work on anything i tested with, that includes the avenger, parasited enemies, parasited enemy summons and even summoned alies from random shrines.
