I cannot say for sure, but agility doesn't seem to have much of an effect outside basic attack.
I had agility/wisdom/toughness on my spellcaster(fireball) and it made little to no difference when I reset it and dump the stats only in toughness and wisdom (2 stats only) for big damage bonus from stats.
It's worst stat right now.
