The "environments" section seems to be the most fitting place for this sort of feedback. If not I apologize.

So far I am really liking Wolcen, it's a lot of fun and I even got my wife to play co-op with me (she doesn't play games much, but this morning she told me she wants to play it more so that's a huge win!)

Anyways, from what I've seen so far I can't help but feel that some UI elements are a mix of "old" and "new" - some things look nice, while others look low quality, to the point where I can nearly count the pixels.

Some things I wish would be changed:

• Minimap icons: They're too big, and particularly the green "dot" icon used for co-op players and "enter" or "exit" dungeon icons are extraordinarily large. The drop-shadows underneath these icons (which I assume is just part of the image file) are very blocky rather than a gradient fade, and as stated before, I can pretty much count the pixels. Recommendation: Pop 'em into photoshop, shrink them by at least 25%, and give them a softer drop-shadow.

• Looting items on the ground: A bit clunky here. I've noticed you may only pick up items when you hover your mouse over the item name text, hovering over the item mesh itself does not allow any mouse interaction. Recommendation: Allow mouse interaction when hovering over name text AND item mesh. Maybe add a soft glow effect when hovering over the mesh?

• Character hair: Ok this one is a bit nit-picky and probably doesn't belong in this sub-forum, but I don't want to make a whole new thread. Pretty much all hair styles look like they are wigs. There is no natural transition from scalp-to-hair; just a hard line where the hair starts.

I'm sure Wolcen will only get better with time and I want to emphasize that my feedback is not meant to be interpreted as rude or anything like that. Seriously an awesome game! Just maybe could use a bit more spit and polish.

P.S.
Is it possible to edit game meshes/textures and icons locally? Say if I wanted to change mini-map icons myself, is that possible?
