Please decouple primary affix from armor archetype

For example, I have a "Rogue" shoulder pad. It grants health and force shield because those are the built-in defensive stats on this type of armor. However, the primary affix is be always agility. The same goes for the other armor archetypes - unless you happen to build for the exact combination of defensive stats + primary affix, one of them will be suboptimal at best, totally wasted at worst.

A simple solution would be to have the primary affix randomly selected out of the pool of all primary affixes that are valid for that slot so that e.g. "Rogue" shoulder pads can also come with wisdom, ferocity etc instead of agility.

Yes, why not? Improvement suggestion i agree with.

But i have a Question for you. Is it not possible for you to use another "Shoulder Item" instead "Rouge-Type" ? May I understand something wrong..
Why not ?. is my Question. Its not getting through as yet.

Thank you mi friend.

would be much better if they implemented smart loot. meaning that if the majority of your poiunts is in certain trees (warwonger, soldier etc) you get offered mostly bruiser and heavy gear.
Or if you have mostly points invested in purple you get mostly sorcerer gear and so on.

Now its super annoying to constaly get pistols, bow, mage and rogue gear that i will never ever use. I much rather have bags fileld with gear i could potentially use then to constantly loot chests, pants shoulders and so on that turn out to be mage or rogue and what not.

The defensive attributes are integral part of the archetype. E.g. Rogue armor has health + force shield, bruiser has health + all resistances etc. Now if you want those defensive attributes but have no use for the primary affix (e.g. agility on Rogue), then you basically on all your armor there is either the wrong primary affix or the wrong defensive stat for your build.
