This is probably more of an OCD thing for me than QoL but the "PLAY" button and the "CHANGE CHARACTER" button should swap places.
In my experience it feels more natural for the "PLAY" button to be under the selected character.

"CHANGE CHARACTER" and "GAME SETTINGS" buttons would be better suited off together to the side as something you do occasionally; while the "PLAY" button should be the main focal point of the screen in your current setup.
