This would be nice. I wish they would classify it on the ground as to which type of armor it is. That way I know not to waste the additional time picking up sorcerer armor/helm/shoulder/gaunt/pants that I won't ever use. I'm a tanky build so my progression is already slow, I don't have 5th skill just yet for Warpath, so it would just be more efficient to not waste those additional seconds each mob clear.
