Startup monitor and resolution problem
Hello guys,
I'm a home-working-programmer-gamer running a triple 4k setup which consist of one gaming LG CX OLED 48'' (monitor 0) and two 28'' LG 4k monitors, one vertical (for coding, monitor 1) and one horizontal (for everything else, monitor 2). Taken from Windows 10 configuration information, my main monitor is my vertical monitor (monitor 1) which sits in the center of my setup. When I launch Wolcen, it will automatically use my main monitor (monitor 1) and detect window resolution based on that monitor which is 2160 x 3840 instead of 3840 x 2160. There are two problems with this detection scheme :
1. This is a vertical monitor therefore resolution detection is inversed.
2. If I attempt to configue the game in window mode so I can swap the game screen from monitor 1 (vertical) to monitor 0 (horizontal), resolution modes won't be refreshed and I'm stuck with vertical resolution modes which are not compatible with regular (horizontal) monitor modes.
3. There is no option to chose prefered monitor for gaming. While I do understand this issue is not the norm, competitor engines (Unity, Unreal and Snowdrop) do take into account multimonitor setups in their configuration options by default (eg. Eleventh Hour Games' Last Epoch, Ubisoft The Division).
I would like to play this game without having to resort to OS-level trickery. Please help me! :)
