In time you will be able to gather more movement speed on your gear and Gate of Fates (not counting the warpath skill currently allowing you to move much faster in such areas). But infinite stamina points in town is most likely not something that we will do.

I have reached 20th level and didn't get warpath skill
In Path of Exile i am accustomed to move quickly
I feel discomfort moving slow
Everyone is already used to quick movement.
Quick movement is a milestone. You cannot provide to the player an opportunity to achieve that what he’s already used to.
May be Game developer should set quick movement as default and switch to invent something new..... (may be)

Quick movement, even in POE, doesn't come without a price ;) You have to invest in passive skill points, use gear to improve it, have at least one skill to travel faster or jump through obstacles. It's the same for Wolcen, keep in mind that there has to be a feeling of progression, it cannot all be granted from the start ^^

"...keep in mind that there has to be a feeling of progression, it cannot all be granted from the start ^^..."
You have misunderstood me
For game design, for players, - quick movement is a past decade achievement.
You have to set quick movement to default ability and forget about it.
Quick movement is not the ability (skill) that should have relation to progress bcoz for modern players - quick movement is a matter of course
Modern players feel negative emotions regards to slow movement and wait impatiently when movement skill appears...
The first part of the game without default-quick-movement-skill is senseless
Modern Players want to overcome this part of the game faster.
Modern Players want to miss this part of the game.

I agree. I often try rolling to speed it up, particularly around town. I don't feel the need for fast movement when on the campaign (without downsides, as indicated by Calistaen) but around the city or in areas with no hostiles within x yards of you. This would be a big help and make it less annoying to move around. A good example is the castle in the main city. It's a lot larger than it needs to be (to give the illusion of scope I assume) but it takes too long to walk to the king. Or after leaving there and walking to the sewers, it takes way too long. I usually just use the town portal then walk from there.

i think this is easy resolved with 25% or 35% faster stamina recovery buff in the city, i dont mind walking as long it doesnt take more then 30 sec.

Way to the king is very long in addition we should go back
Yes, - stone architecture is very handsome along this way but distances in this game should be shorter
It is NOT cool if a player rolls in the towns - it's ridiculous so it needs any movement skill especially for towns
Conclusion: - town-quick-movement skill + shorter distances
To Calistaen
Quick-movement skill is outdated skill - it is not fresh skill - it doesn't evoke admiration
You can't give a player this ability with game-walk-through-progress because the game before this "giving" is boring....
