Summoner Questions and Improvements
Introduction:
Hi, i started playing the game 5 days ago on the 14th of february in Offlinemode as a Summoner with toxin dmg and Material dmg.
The beginning of the game was kinda rough, I did not know stuff, i apparently did not use my taunt ability enough and completely neglected my archers shooting ability. But i was new so that's okay i guess, once i progressed it became increasingly easier i learend how to play summoner and after Lambach the game was literally childs play because i would not take dmg anymore because my Tank was seemingly immortal and i would just spam my other summons attacks into the enemies combined with Anomaly. I really really enjoyed it but i have a lot of questions that i could just not figure out.
Currently i am playing a completely different build on my Online playthrough(a completely melee oriented aoe mage), which is superior in every aspect. Higher dmg, better survivability, more sustain, better movement. But i really wan't to play Summoner to the same potential, i just need to know what benefits my little zombie bois.
I have no idea what scales into summons:
1. Do they get a certain percentage of stats from me?
2. Or is it just some stats?
3. Does their ailment dmg get boosted by mine?
4. Should Summoners skill Material dmg for the reason that Summons deal physical dmg? (I did and it seem to work but i want to get clarity)
5. Why is the health tooltip not changing if i boost my summons health?
5.1 Does it really apply?
6. Why do we not see their avarage dmg in the tooltip?
Bugs with summons i encountered:
1. Sometimes they get stuck outside bossrooms and chill outside behind a wall. (reslotting the skill and summoning them again is a temporary workaround)
2. Melee Zombies can't charge around corners
3. Melee Zombies can't charge up or down stairs
4. Archer Zombies can't shoot up or down stairs
5. Archer Zombies shoot on their target rather than the mousecursor as if they are locked onto them.
Additional improvements that need to be made:
1. Summons are naturally set to a kind of passive state. They don't attack unlike in a certain distance to the monster even if i attack them.
2. Make the tank summon appear on mousecursor or movable somehow. (It's sometimes a huge pain that he goes on a random killing spree against trashmobs when the boss was chasing me. The only way to get aggro/threat is pulling the Boss onto the Summon and then pressing the taunt...well or killt he trashmob, but that's sometimes really difficult to manage while being chased by for example Edric.)
3. Add an infotext to the tooltip explaining the statgain of the summon.
I can't think of anything more atm.
Cheers
