Toughts, suggestions and random ramblings (long one).

Bonjour !

Well i've hit the 500 hours mark in Wolcen since the release and I'm having a
lot of fun but also, some more frustrating moments with bugs. I think that Wolcen
is a great ARPG with definitvely great potential. I personnaly think that it hits
the sweet spot and compromises between obscure and complicated character skillset and
customization and rapid enjoyable action. Graphically, the game is beautiful though is
suffers from framerate drops in certain maps in intense fighting moments. Plus, you're
a small studio who deserve for what they've accomplish and we all like the underdog.

So I thought i'd share what comes to mind rapidly on the game. I'm sure a lot of you
have seen lots of these comments before but here they are, in no particular order.

(for info : level 83, city level 10, 790 productivity)

General
- Possibility to toggle the vendors dialogs on/off. After 500 hours
not getting the trial belt, when I hear Zeitgeist, i just want to
downright kill her. Please put a hitbox on her. And not just her,
the witty comments of all of them might be funny at the first but
it gets old very very fast.

UI
- Reduce the size of the display windows (character, chest and items) which are
way too big. If possible, make it a setting option.
- add more way to customize the UI to better suit players playstyle.
- Example : Playing on a 32 inch monitor, I would like to have my ressources
meters (health, rage/willpower and primordial essence only) display on top where
they would be more visible and easier to keep the focus on the fight.
- Possibility to toggle on/off the section with skill display, potions, etc
- Fix the chest inventory to be 12x12 instead of 10x10. You do have 12 different
types of gems no?
- Display the dye color name in the transmog dye tab screen while mouseover.

GateOfFates
- make it possible to toggle the character stats on/off while picking your nodes
to see what they activily change in your stats when applicable or find a non disruptive
way to display them.
- fix the 2 points spent on nodes when mistakenly double clicking on them.
- fix the bugzzzz :-)

Active skills :
- by default, display only the skills applicable to your character with an option to toggle
the other ones on/off.
- Fix the bugzzzz :-)

Monsters
- fix the double knockback or at least apply it only once when using delayed damage passive nodes.
- Stop enabling bosses to target you from behind. The butcher is really the best example of this.
- get rid of the bouncing AOE which throws you around for 15 seconds
- make lightning less punishing. Even with a tanky character, we get one shot sometimes.
- Stop the damage of AOE IMMEDIATLY when the monster/boss is dead

Endgame
- more diversity in the seekers/diplomatic missions
- Augment the sucess rate of diplomatic missions which at the moment is 20% and
below for me right now.
- create a hard mission that can get you more than 1 normal reagent at the time.
3 would be nice.
- fix the name monsters missions where monsters spawn out of maps.
- Make tier 11 gems available in town

Gameplay / QOL
- Spawn shrine of greed on less awkward sections of the maps which make movement
impossible while fighting in tight spaces.
- Fix monsters out of map
- display legendary/unique drops on map
- always display unique vendor icon on map
- fix dead viewing angles on map where your character and monsters are not visible
- When doing special maps missions (boss/omens/chests), spawn portal further away from character
when the objective has been reached to avoid clicking on it accidently and missing dropped
loot or add a dialog option to avoid this.
- when all skills are learned, picking an enneract of the ground adds to your primordial
affinity pool and doesnt send the item to character inventory.
- Fix framerate drops and jitter on certain maps
- downsize the opacity of AOE skills on the ground. They tend to surimpose one another and mask
- make tradin more robust...Right clicking team players doesnt always work and my character start
running away when initiating trade request.
- create a trustworthy rating for players to avoid getting scamed in trading
- ability to report players for inapropriate behavior
- fix being thrown out of map, or ending up in a rock or a non accessible part of the map forcing
you to main menu.
- Downsize the loot quantity drops.
- Get rid of common and magic items drops after a certain level of expeditions
- Have Apu (Mohabi) sell better stuff just once in a blue moon.

Crafting
- make an official guide !!!

- I dont know where to start cos it just doesnt work. Too much RNG, stats that shouldnt
be rerolled or removed when socketing a gem are way too often the ones to go. I've spent way
too much time/gems and gold on this to be happy with the ratio of good items it provided.
- I never was able to add flat damage. Is that even possible?
- Make it clear on the item display what are the prefixes and suffixes when displaying
the item stats.
- Make an independent UI screen for crafting with gems/reagent and items section for quick acccess

Suggestions
- map diversity for expeditions
- create unique dungeons (not randomly generated) that can be access via legendary maps
drops with multiple objective.
- Create permanent missions where you can have solo/coop maps. See this as raid events like Destiny 2.
- Monster specific loot drops (weapon/armor/skins/dyes)
- Armor/weapon sets
- Possibility to replay the story on any level.
- give access to end game to new character without having to replay the story.
- PLEASE dont loose sight of your PVE aspect of the game if you plan on introducing PVP.
