Two thumbs UP (changed)

Hello, to whom it may concern, -->EDIT AT BOTTOM

To begin, I am a veteran ARPG player with well over 5000 hours in AARPG's alone and have never struggled in a new game like this before.
I purchased your game yesterday and after about 24 hours of game play, I'm seriously not impressed by the bugs and outright difficulty of the game.
The artwork, graphics and voice actors are great however after the time spent, I feel like it's been a near complete waste of time. Half of my time has
been spent re loading the game after a bug prevented me from playing and the other half I spend dying to unavoidable damage and or long prolonged fights.
The game progression is SOOOOOOOOOOO SLOOOOOOOW. It takes forever to kill elites which feels like a drag and grind to stay alive even with a strong melee character and plenty of toughness. I've tried multiple setups with no success.

After 20+ attempts at the A1 boss, Elric, I could only get to the 3rd phase ONCE. I actually thought I had finally killed him after the 2nd phase only to find out there was ANOTHER phase and I had no chance at survival. I was at level 21 which from what I've learned is not bad for that fight.
I then attempted to re roll ANOTHER toon and now I'm stuck at the start of Act 1 barely able to progress. Either the skills are too weak or the content
is too difficult. I've reviewed a lot of comments and quite frankly some of them are not very good. A LOT of people have complained about the content being too difficult and or their skills not doing enough damage. This should have been worked out before release so the majority of people can actually get through the campaign without going through 100x deaths
I recognize that this is a brand new game that was just released however I feel that it COULD have been a lot better before releasing it.

However, I have seen plenty of people on youtube that have completed the campaign and are actually doing end game content. I'd seriously like to know how!!!! Seriously...how?
I've reviewed many builds and have attempted to build two with no success. They're all using skills that aren't available and the ones that are cannot pull their weight. I am at a loss right now and not sure what to do. I'm even considering going back to D3 for a while just so that I can have reliable gameplay and progression as I am burnt out on POE.

I will conclude that this game has incredible potential and I seriously hope it gets better! I do think you're onto something however there are a lot of things that need to be changed/reworked. I do want to take the time to comment on how I like the fact that you included features from D3, POE and even WoW and ESO. I am quite impressed with a lot, I just feel that this game was released too early and needs a lot of work.

Thank you for reading and have a nice day.
Sincerely,
MarcusDecimus

EDIT: After giving the game another try and making a magic toon I am now blasting through maps with ease and having a lot of fun. There was and probably still is a problem with my first build. It could be bugs and or skill balancing. Either way, I'm finally enjoying the game the way I believe it's meant to be and I'm very happy.

I will be taking an active part in the bugs/feedback forums to help out from now on. Cheers friends and good luck!

Took me 5 tries to kill Elric solo. Think of story mode boss fights like Dark Souls. You need to learn his tells and react accordingly. First time I beat him was as a caster with summoned minions. Second character I beat him with was melee.

Pay close attention and learn the fight. You could think of it like a raid in WoW. You'll never kill Ragnaros if you don't know the mechanics. Or you could grind levels so you out level the content. First time I killed him I was level 25. Second time I was level 21.

Hey thanks for your post. I've been busy, I remade a magic class and I'm blazing through and having a lot of fun. The problem is obviously bugs and much needed balancing!

Thank you for your post. I am well aware of mechanics and I do remember Firelands from WoW. I raided from LK to Legion. The problem is the bugs and obvious needed class balancing. I just remade a magic toon and I'm literally BLASTING THROUGH. There was an obvious bug/problem with my build as I started having more damage and clear speed as soon as I switched to a magic build.

I will edit my post as my opinion has since changed. I'm feeling a lot more positive and am having a lot of fun finally. Cheers mate, peace out!
