Okay I beat it at level 50 (I spent 50 hours maybe playing because I like to explore all the nooks and find extras)

I jumped in front of the evil magic dodad to save my family and I get that stupid scolling test screen! what happend to Val and Father?
I can see the big bad trying to go into Val and Father and nothing, no final big bad fight no you saved you family where is the rest of the game looks like you left it open for an act 4 ran out of money and released it. do we find out what happend to Val and father in an up comming expansion?
