as the title suggests, however i have now watched three videos recorded in the past 2-days all running 1.0.4 that have ailment stacks above their health bars. is it a mod or something?

These arent your actual aliment stacks you inflict. These are from a Passive in the ?cabalist? Passive tree if I remember correctly. They give you 5% Bonus dmg for every enemy killed with a specific aliment status, adding up to 5 times max per different aliment.
