While this is a great ask and will likely be useful at some point in the future, the game currently faces three problems when it comes to planning:
- The way mechanics stack, interact, and even display are not intuitive. Since displays are sometimes wrong as well, it is very difficult to tell if the right math even gets you the right answer.
- Of course, the game is under pretty rapid-fire patches right now. It's pretty much impossible to plan for anything, since it is likely that a build that is good right now will be nerfed to oblivion by the time you have the levels to use it.
- Some stats actually do nothing. Like, literally nothing. I'm not sure if this specific bug has been fixed yet, but passive nodes that increase your spell damage just didn't do anything.
So it's really hard to test the math, get the right math, know whether the math is accurate, and to tell whether any of that won't change tomorrow. The game is in a bit of a sorry state at the moment, so my advice would just be to play however you feel like in the moment and worry about optimizing when they get this game out of alpha.
If a dev or mod or whatever reads this - I'm not trying to insult anyone, and I know you're working as hard as you can to fix the game. I'm just answering this question as honestly as I can.
