From what I read, there won't be content updates but only bugfix updates. Next content update will be the game full release.

The game is still rough around the edges and missing some key functionality. For this game, that's been in development for so long, it would make sense if we could test things like crafting (which they have indicated is coming at release) could be tested too.

Are you sure? I mean, there are a lot of core mechanics missing. Will you actually pushing them out without even any feedback from the playerbase? Seems very confident to me, Act 1 doesn't seem to be that polsihed either yet.
