Devs, hi! Loving the game so far, even with the enormous amount of bugs as exploits.
You should bring new life to the genre. Adding a season and hoping it will satisfy the aarpg community is a bit naive.
You have one big advantage against those big companies out there > Not much to lose!~ So, create NEW stuff outside leagues. It sounds like a copy of a copy you know? :(
Sure, you can`t really reinvent the weel, but you can at the very least, some new ROADS.
There is so much you guys could achieve by just being orignal.

Game tweaks needed:

1 - I know at least 17 players running 187 expeditions very easily with equipped items which dropped the best item they are using since then in expedition 133 or less. Make the expedition 130-150 / 160-170 / 180-187 with better affixes and better itens. It seems how much higher the expedition the worst the itens start to be.

2 - It's very nice to level skills. Create skills buff tree after player reach expedition level 180+.

3 - Create potions which we can level them with passive status: +%hp, +% force shield, +% spell damage, etc.

4 - 2H staff are very weak players take advantage from a lot of affixes from 1h and catalyst affixes. So double the number of affixes from staff if they increase 90% spell damage make them increase 180%.

Happy to hear you communicate about what's next and the future of the game. Plan look good for me, and I don't mind the 4 month of correcting bug since I'm already enjoying the game. Good decision to focus on bugs & crash before going to add content, still do not hesitate adding quality of life as well as correcting bugs.

I'm waiting a lot for next week patch, tho. You said it will be delayed, fine, so please make sure to work on MORE bugs. I'm actually stuck in a black screen with my main char only, right after an expedition that crashed. Look like I'm trapped in an unfinished expe that don't load, so I'm just waiting staring at a blackscreen that never move. Can't play my main right now and I'm only waiting for that bug to be patch, even if I'm enjoying reroll a bit.

Pretty cool to hear about contact and bugs support as well, since I had no answer on this website as well as on FB since 10 days. Nice to hear you're reading all of our messages, even if you do not answer yet (one person alone can't handle this) it at least mean we can hope for the patch and you're aware of it. +1 for recruiting more "forum and support devs", it's a must-have for a game devs to stay close and listening to community and players, it does affect the general feeling that the game is in progress and in a good way and that we're heard and helped.

As a true Avatar air-bender, I shall be patient!
Take your time and work hard, this "game" should be written "gem".

please improve the damage of the annihilation skill, despite its damage with ether, I do not see that it retains high lvl ... magicians need to improve the poles ... otherwise I think you are on the right track.

Leagues normally don't help casual players. And it's the reason that although I played D2 a lot, I had to quit D3 (after playing for quite some time as well) and never came back. I really hope you come up with something else to reward league players and allow us to keep doing what we want in the main version of the game.

Excellent news. I really like the decision to work on stability and quality of life before adding leagues or add-ons. It's much easier to expand on more stable content than expand on something not yet up to your standards

Thumbs up for trying. But please, fix the game crashing on higher levels, it's unplayable now for most players. Also idea of leagues is not the best, as you can see in comments, better create new content, more story, new maps, expeditions levels something like poe and wow are doing. Better affixes on higher tier items, would be nice, and stronger uniques. Those so far are useless. Great job on ailment numbers shown, we need this. But first, fix problems that affects playing, like crashes, skill tree and balances, then add more content (not leagues). Good luck.

Please, read this claim and lament.
1-how can we play this league mechanics on a game that takes this long to achieve the max level?

2-how people still thinking on league that make the players apart of the time and effort they made so far, and force them to start again without the most important thing in arpg games: your character and your loot.

3-why not a league or ladder where you keep what you already have and apply it to the new league content making the gameplay more rich and your character more powerful or opening new possibilities for this already owned character grown like new skills, new systems, new items.

4-if is so difficult to keep your player base active without forcing them to re level characters why instead of making a new one give us the option to reroll our existing characther keeping with it at least our loot, So we can focus on the new loot instead having to farm it all again.

4- arpg is about loot. d2 was a success because we could use the loot we find on the first day until the very last day on our characters. this league and season mechanics are a real bullshit imposed on players who will feel forced to play it for the new content. So we will gather our new beloved loot just to let it sitting on our stash forever, because when the new league or season come out we will be forced to do the same process again.
Please make it in a way we can merge what we have and what is being added to the game, so we can have a real arpg experience where you see the fruits of your time and effort spent being used for something good.

5- create a league different from what we have on Poe and d3, I bought your game for a new experience don't copy it's failure.

6- I really believe on wolcen potential, I've been playing the game over d3 and Poe, even with all bugs and problems. I don't want to go back to these games, I want to stay here. But just hearing you guys talking about this league mechanic makes me feel that I'm back to these games. I don't play 10 hours daily to let all my achievements being erased with a mechanic that make all my effort useless.

7- If the league mechanics is unavoidable, give us at least the option to access all the league content and perks with our non seasonal characters, so we can play the new content with our already owned characters.
this way people who like to restart will be pleased. And people who don't like to restart will have the option to keep playing the way they like but not being denied this new content,
this is a simple solution that will make everyone happy and won't hurt your pockets.
think on it like the ladder from d2, where you choose to restart so you can be more competitive and fair with the new players. But also keep the old players who don't want to restart happy, giving us the penalty of not figuring on the league's leaderboard.
every type of player will be free to choose what they want, and granted access to the full content of the game one way or another.

8- And for god's sake my char still 81, I don't want to make an alt. the way wolcen works make alts a dumb choice. it's unique as it is, don't ruin it.

9- Don't be naive, Leagues or Seasons aren't end game content, is just a shit way to keep the player base engaged. It's actually it's opposite since you are forcing players to restart the game. I really don't get how you can even think about this bullshit.

10-a) focus on giving us chat channels so the players can interact inside the game.
polish what you have on the game already.
b)give us a decent pvp option. like an arena wow style or even the open space out of the town like in d2, so players would spend countless hours using they earned loot trying to figure out multiple ways to kill each other and farming the loot they need to do it.
c) erase dupes and ban dupers accounts.
d) improve for real your servers. most of builds can crash the game when playing on density.
e) improve the enemies , they are way too passive and slow to respond.
f) finish and fix what you have already before thinking on doing something new.
g) and maybe think twice on the item quality upgtade patch you did. if we can't upgrade legendaries what is the point on dropping legendary loot with no perfect quality.

Please think on what I'm saying. If you guys really love arpgs and loot, don't betray people like me who would play this game for years and years if you guys give us only a little of love and stop treating us like idiots, Think over this shell called league or season, make it your own way doing it so you can keep you player base active but not throwing all effort we already made away.

I'm really happy to hear we will have news, improvements, fixings and content but this story of league mechanics make me so sad that for the first time I'm thinking in stop playing wolcen.

A league system? That's the last thing I wanted. I left PoE after spending thousands of hours in that game for several leagues. And for what? I felt utterly devoid of any satisfaction when I remembered that all of my progress in the league would become nullified by its end because a miniscule portion of the PoE community plays Standard. I want to be part of the larger community of a game. Unfortunately, because PoE decided to only release new content in leagues rather than an already standardized population, I decided I could not happily remain in PoE. My progress would always be discarded into a sort of "archived" standard league that is only meant to be forgotten for most of the time, and sometimes to be admired.

How DERIVATIVE of your team to implement a league system into your game. How BORING, how UNORIGINAL, how UNEXCITING, how AVERSIVE.

Really? You claim to listen to your community? Well, are you listening? Already on the first page, numerous people are unhappy with your plans to create leagues. I did not see one endorsement for your upcoming league system, did you? Then, listen to your base, the ones typing here instead of playing PoE's new league; the ones playing this predominantly bugged out game with minimal end-game content. We don't want leagues. If you don't want league, you'll still can play on standart...You don't want it? Ok, and it doesn't mind you if some player want it? On POE near every one is playing league, maybe there is a reason for that?
And they did not explain what they will do for league, then before crying just wait a little or just share the fabulous idea you have to do something BETTER...You ask them to listen, but you just ask for nothing. Something BETTER do not exist if no one know what it is.

I am unclear on one aspect of the described League system.

I get that new content and mechanics will be introduced by way of new leagues, similar to Path of Exile. I also get that our existing characters will be separated to a standard league when the new league begins. What I would like to clarify is whether or not the standard and new leagues will be accessible concurrently. I'd also like to clarify if the new content and mechanics will trickle down to the standard league after new leagues complete (also similar to PoE).

I am the sort of player who prefers to play without a clock looming over my character's head. I can spend a year or two slowly taking a single character to max level and grinding out gear upgrades. Will I be able to do this in Wolcen while new leagues come and go, and will I eventually be able to experience content additions even if I remain in standard?

My apologies if the answers to these questions are considered by the Wolcen team to be apparent, I just wasn't able to discern them strictly from the post here.

Leagues/seasons etc are a hard pass for me as long as that requires levelling a new character from scratch. I want to play with and invest into my main character, not create throwaway after throwaway in order to get season-exclusive stuff that I am not going to be using on my main because I am playing a throwaway character all the time. This issue is confounded by the extremely slow levelling beyond a certain point, which would suggest that the long-term investment is reaching max level on one or a small selection of permanent characters.

I'll wait and see what the seasonal model brings for players who do not participate, but until then I am not going to touch the game any more. Le sigh.

Clearly you have not heard of Diablo 3 or Path of exile, both those games do the essential same thing you're describing, and neither of those games have a wealth and breadth of end game content. Especially D3, you're being an obtuse hypocrite if you say otherwise.

Today POE has a very large end game...Laby, map with various boss and mod (breach, box, métamorph, vaal area, incursion...)
You have atziri/uber atziri, shaper, elder, the council, delve...
What do you want more lol?
At the moment wolcen is more like diablo 3 and yes end-game is actualy a little poor.

Nice straw man there, you should put a hat on it. Did I anywhere mention D3? The fact that D3's endgame is terrible does in no shape or form excuse anyone from doing the same mistake.
