You people have obviously never played a game on launch day. Look back at the first WoW release and how they didnt expect so many people to have interest and half the people that are complaining have literally just purchased the game so they didnt have the figures to work with in order to compensate with servers.
Give the devs time to address the issue and enjoy the game when you can get online. Plus if you have never played the game go offline and try things out in the mean time.

this is a sheep response.
you have been trained to accept beta play on launch day.

they know how many copies of the game has been sold, plus anticipate launch-day purchases. this isnt hard.

the game cant even login to the steam authentication, then when it logs in it says there is a update that doesnt exist.

LOL wut? Launch day? ...and that doesnt even sound like a server-load problem.

the gaming community are now being trained like dogs to pay for betas now.....and not only are you being bent-over, youre defending it.

I kinda agree that there should not be any problems on launch day. If you expect someone to pay for something, this someone expects to get the product.

WoW was the first one and didn't have a beta period. Wolcen has been in all kinds of Early Access phases for 4 years! Having this sort of issue on launch day is just unacceptable.

Same issue here. Too bad that having so much time and a lot of experience (as they say) no one didn't realize that game need just good and stable launch

any news yet? anyone able to play online?

Created: 4 years, 2 months ago

No, it is not working yet :(

Usually with such problems on a launch day its fixed to the point where you can log in eventually.... seems like techies have called it a night.. no updates apart from "we are aware and we are looking into the issue" and not on their own main webpage but via different social media platforms first.

dude, they should have had a very good idea what to expect. just count all the payments as the numbers increase and you have a very close estimate. its not like the purchases increased in the 10.000s since Monday, anyway. besides in 2020 its pretty possible to enhance infrastructure overnight. you rent a server, you install your SW, you buy more bandwidth, when purchases spike, you get all these extensions done in 72 hours tops. they wanted to start small to cut costs, and now Wolcen will go down in history as the great game that didnt launch at launch. yea, the players will still forgive, but come on, lots of us have been waiting since kickstarter, others since early alphas, and this is no way to show appreciation for our investment.
if memory serves me right, we've been funding this thing for a veeery long time.

When Diablo 3 came out this happened too... And I was so excited about the game but everything ruined from that point. I played a bit and never played D3 ever nor the expansions... I am curious it will happen with this game too lol

Working fine for me now at least. I just played other games and tried occasionally logging in. I'm not sure where their servers are or what their architecture is in general, but it would be stupid in company's point of view to have the capacity to have servers to handle the player amount rushing in at the launch at the same time. That can't really be tested in Alpha also. But with cloud based system they could have scaleable servers which would scale the servers needed for the load to handle. Anyway, for me this was kind of expected thing to happen since people have been waiting this game for so long. Many big companies have the same issues. Please don't call me a white knight or fan boy. Hope you are starting to get in too. :)

It's 2020 why are the servers not up on day one. I know Wolcen is a different world/game... but ever seen ERROR 37 learn from others. Please

Increment of game price on launch day, and game not working at all on launch day. A very bad start for the developers. Very disappointing. And is no excuse to say "we were not expecting all these people at launch day". Maybe they just paid the worst server service they found. Launch day is very important and this is a taste of what can be expected from developers.

The game is very good, there is any preview about when will the servers stabilize?
It's a little bit frustrating that we can't play as soon as the game started, but there's is nothing we can do.
Hope that they can solve the problem quickly.

Have they fixed this issue yet? Have they acknowledged the issue? Do we have an ETA on the fix?

I agree with so many others...If I pay for a service you expect that service to be delivered...and delivered in a good working manner. To say that we need to calm down is just bahhh bahhing like a paid sheep. If you you pay the doctor to do a good job on surgery then you expect him to know what he is doing. When you order a coffee you expect it to be just like you asked for it. If you pay for an online game you expect to play it online. There is no excuse for not providing the service that so many has paid for.

I was able to play yesterday to level 7 and expected that now at the morning here at EU things would be better. Well they kind of are since they logging succeed usually with couple of tries, but then I can't create game since the service connection gets lost while trying to do. If I try to create game again after that it doesn't even try to do it, but you have to switch to offline and back online and do the authentication etc. process again.

Well now I was "able" to create a game and it started loading, but I have been staring a blank screen for about 10 minutes so I guess it's time to alt + F4 and start again. Diablo had error 37, but if you got past that things started to work. This login process seems to have so many potential failure points that it's really annoying. Also I wish dev would give a little bit more information what are the actual problems and how things are progressing and what they are doing.
