Act 2 - Cordial Invitation Zaalbezul bug - Forum

Hey, I have a bug after I defeated Zaalbezul.
The next task is to talk to Valeria, but she sinks into the ground together with Zaalbezul and I'm all alone in the area with nowhere to go.
Anyone else had received this issue?
Done the fight twice, still same issue.
Saw this one which sound partial like my issue but this is definitely a bug:

I have the exact same issue - I've tried a few times, but Valeria always disappears along with Zaalbezul. Playing offline.

Hi,

This is because Valeria died twice during the fight against Zaalbezul.
You need to either kill the boss faster, tank hits for Valeria, or revive her if she goes down, that way you shouldn't have any issues. :)

Can confirm this, I think - I've done the battle again, now rushed the boss ASAP, and Valeria's dialogue started playing after the battle, and I could talk to her.

I will try tomorrow and give feedback but this causes confusion and frustration. If there was at least a "Valeria died, return to last checkpoint" screen, it would be more obvious.

Can confirm you need to be fast enough to kill the boss.
Not even let her die once and keep her dead is working because she revives on her own.

After the fight I had a nasty bug where she, for some reason, stand in the way on the stairs and there was no way around, she didn't follow anymore, even not via portal to the city. Needed to log off log on again and then she was gone..
