Try to switch Server in Options.
This works for me, i Switched from (EU) Frankfurt to-> (EU) London and i was able to enter the Monolith.

wont work for me... its some other bug i think. i can see the text of the first line of the cinematic, than black screen and in the next second im in town. teleport back and still cant enter the monolith.

Past to 1.0.4.0 always stuck at the monolith gate after the portal, impossible to continue the campagne. LvL43^^
