dodge chance
I have been using dodge as my primary defense and after upgrading some items with % dodge chance jewels my dodge chance reset to 0.

The % chance items only increase your overall dodge score, which is by default 0. You need to find an item which gives a + modifier without the %. This is most commonly found on rouge items. Check and make sure that the items you've been swapping out have at least one with the + modifier.
But yeah it's super not clear from the info provided.
