Dual Wielding

1.Dual wielding still dont work (pistol).
Whats the point to play like a pure pistol character but wearing a two handed bow because (dual pistol DPS wont scale correctly).
Its my first H&S when dual wielding wont work .

I think that should be benefits for using one handed weapons or two handed weapons. Like :
A) one handed have better sttack speed, higher critical strike chance,
B) two handed much slower but with higher DPS

If u auto attacking with dual wieldind attack speed or crit compensate lower DPS
But when u use skill witch cannot be spammed (wait for animation) attack speed doesnt matter. (worth it if attack speed significantly increases animation speed)

EVERYONE witch want to play as an pistol char need to wear two handed BOW because dualwielding almost dont give us any profit.
Imagine how it looks like when u wearing a BOW and when u use ur skill the bow (animation) switches to pistoll constantly (the equiped bow works like an dummy ). Its dammed ugly.

In this game state u cant play with pistols and use pistol skills because is not worth it . Bow have a lot better DPS and attack speed doesnt matter.

2. People play with only few skills. They are good skills and shit skills. U cant just choose a skill what u like and create a build around it.
If u want to play with a bow weapon and kill enemies - shooting an simple arrow skill (not rain of arrows) u cant because 80% of skills dont do any damage.
Try to create build with Stings of Krearion skill - i mean pure build works around that one skill. Impossible.
3. The game suffer because of limited builds. Every one play with 3-4 builds (3-4 skills).

I am not sure about the dual-wielding mechanics in the game since I haven't tested them, but I can tell you that I haven't really come across people dual wielding or seen them in build guides. It does make me wonder if the damage formula for dual-wielding if broken of just isn't rewarding enough to be worth using compared to almost any other option.

I CAN tell you that your premise that pistols aren't worth it because bows are too strong couldn't be more wrong. I made an entire post about it, but basically even though a bow is a two-handed weapon, it is receiving one handed affixes. You can verify this using https://wolcendb.erosson.org/loot. That means that the only difference is the base damage on the weapon, which compared to the affixes and gems that you would end up with is very small (especially when you consider that the pistol can still be combined with another pistol, shield, or the most common choice: a catalyst). It ends up that tier 16 bows have 36-98 (an average of 67) while tier 16 pistols have 18-99 (an average of 58.5). 67/585.5 = 1.145 or a 14.5% damage increase from a two-handed weapon. When you factor both of those things together, you are talking about an overall damage difference of less than 5%.
