During an expedition I was bugged in the terrain by somehow jumping off the main road using wings of ishmir.

This forced me to return to main menu and rejoin my live game. My friend was still in the expedition so I went into the portal to join him.

A side dungeon appeared and I wasn't able to join him or see it on my mini map. The visual for the dungeon was there but I couldn't enter.
