Game causes my PC to restart

I did a clean reinstall. Can not even finish the turtorial area. It just causes my PC to go black and then reboot. Does anyone else have that problem so far? In the alpha everything ran smoothly for me.

Also, it is not a heat issue either, I just did a clean bootup after having the machine off for the night and it immediately caused the restart in the first screen of the turtorial area. Couldn´t even access the ledge this time.

Furthermore I tried reducing the FPS by half and setting the graphics to low. Last time It crashed even on the first cutscene screen.

I had the same issue the way I fixed it was to turn off overclocking/turbo boost and XMP profile. The only game that has made my system unstable while overclocked. If there is another solution out there that I'm missing so I don't have to keep turning it all off I'd really appreciate it.

From the Bios, right? And now the game works?

yeah in the bios, if you don't have an unlocked cpu just make sure xmp is off,

I just turned of intel turbo boost, from what i have read, that should disable overclocking. XMP i have not heard about. Seems these BIOS are not all the same. Gonna try it now, and if that doesnt work research XMP.

Didn´t help either and there was no XMP Option anywhere in my BIOS. Guess at this time I will have to wait for a later version of the game that maybe has smoothed out more of the kinks.

what are your specs? just find the setting in your bios that overclocks your ram from the base speed, its extreme memory profile usually. might be named something different in your bios?
