As an update, I have noticed that there seem to be many other enemies that this is happening to, and I am thinking it might not be a bug after all. It seems like the green globes (and red globes I have noticed as well) seem to spawn when the dead carcass fades and thus might be part of the "death animation". Since there is a bit of a range in how long this animation takes (svriir spitters seem to have the longest animation), globes thus pop out WAY later than a lot of the smaller easily killed enemies.
Since I guess this isn't really a bug, I am turning it into a feature/quality of life request. Can the globes be change to pop out when the health bar reaches "0" instead of waiting for the death animations to finish? When globes pop out would then be a lot more consistent. Thanks!
