My brother gave me roughly 2 trillion gold not but two days ago as of making this post, as of yesterday however, I had less than 200,000 a VASTLY different number. He even lost most of his gold. Can someone at least EXPLAIN what happened if not help me get my gold back?

Congrats, your brother is a cheater.
Yesterday, all gold that was created by cheats & exploits was removed from the game, even if accepted by trade.
