Occasionally unable to activate a "Second Wind" when knocked down

There have been inconsistent instances where I suddenly get knocked down and receive the prompt to "Revive or Give Up".
For some unknown reason, the game occasionally does not acknowledge that I am holding space to revive.

This has been on offline mode, usually occurring on the first knock-down when I should have 3 revives remaining.

I've tried replacing my keyboard to see if it was a hardware issue, but it has occurred twice since.

The most recent occurrence was during a Wrath of Sarisel challenge. Which means that I lost 2,000 Essence due to the fact that "Lure Untainteds for 1,000" is also bugged and costing 2,000 essence per a Wrath of Sarisel challenge run.

Yeah, I got that once. Seems like a rare bug. Don't know what triggers it.

I think I have identified a candidate for what is causing this bug. In each instance that this happened, at least as far as I can recall, there was an Untainted Zealot present in the fight that had just performed the charging attack which follows with bringing the character into the air and smashing them down onto the ground.

I have posted a separate bug report, but to summarize it here: Breaking an Untainted Zealot's defenses and forcing them into a vulnerable state as they are in the middle of their charging animation seems to freeze the game up.

I'm speculating now that the bug of being unable to activate a Second Wind / Revive is due to being knocked down in the middle of the Untainted Zealot's charging animation. The result being that the game doesn't know how to resolve the fact that the player should be in the middle of the Untainted Zealot's attack animation, but is knocked down at the same time.
