I have played offline until about level 15 in a single session, after coming back to the game there was no character. When i looked into the characters folder it was empty. I downloaded some random character and inserted it in the folder. To my surprise i still don't have any character ingame. I'd like to play the game -_-

where are you looking for your character?
give us the path.
also windows defender or similar crap AV tend to delete files because they think that are a virus trying to edit them many times.
make sure your AV are offline when you play games anyways.
and make also sure you have full access rights to that folder. (google how)

The path is Users\Username\Saved games\Wolcen\savedgames\characters
I don't have any AV on, checked the access rights and they all had full controll.

Every single time when quit the game my character is deleted....playing yesterday like 5hours Start the game today no character..create a new one play like 4-5hours again restart the game and my character deleted again. What can i do? My characters still lost? Every time i start to play need create new characters and never quit? Sorry for bad english.

Just read in another thread if you use non latin letters the characters will not save. Might this be a thing for you?
I don't know if that is true but i don't have the delete problem and i just used normal latin letters.
Actually someone else said the problem is special letters in the Windows-Username. Can you confirm that? Would be nice to figure out the reason if someone else got the same problem.

Create a new Windows account and fresh install steam in standard directory. No custom install.
