I was fighting an Alastor at the end of the map and suddenly there were tiny spnning blades circling all over the place. Maybe even 30-50, I'm not exaggerating . There is absolutely no way to get away from them. They don't spin around the boss, they follow me and I'm always somehow in their path. Even 8 dodge rolls and dusk shroud weren't enough to get away. I died 3 times in a row from these, within half a minute.
