(Stuck in act 3)Joined a friends story which was farther just to trade now im stuck in act 3.

Hello i played with a few friends in my story. One of my friends went ahead and got to act 3. I joined his game to trade.
When i tried to go back to my act 1 progression now im stuck in act 3 where he was progressing. Is there anyway to revert this or warn players at least.
I noticed i could not report a bug issue through the game client so im here reporting this. If this is a feature in the game please warn us or let us know if it is intended.

Hey. Same happened to me some minutes ago. Im stuck in Stormfall Mode with Level 37 and nothing to do there .. any way to reset?

Only way to reset is make a new dude. I tried random stuff and looked for fixes constantly. They should really warn players about this.

Dude, it is a mad bug obviously. That is 11 hrs of gameplay. Shortly before finishing act 3 by myself. It isn't that hard to keep act-states per player and do not override them with another players state. That isn't the case probably, but the UI doesn't offer to switch between the states, that should be easily coded.
