These bats are elusive! If you get the chance to actually target them, they never take damage! I mean shooting an arrow at a bat is a challenging feat in and of itself, Can I get a shred of hope that the devs can fix this? Love the game btw. Great change of pace from Path of Exile.

I think I am coming to post a similar bug:
For specifics on my case - Sea Noxious Swarmwing in Act 1 - The Unknown.
The hit box for these bats is extremely off-center. Sometimes you have to target a tiny spec on their foot, and nowhere else to be able to target.

I am having the same issues with bat targeting, and honestly targeting in general is kinda rough. Anyways. the only way I was able to kill them was with the rain of arrows ability from the archer skill.

Lots of people are experiencing this but you can target them if you click a bit below them seems to be a bit weird with their hitbox's at the moment.

Bladestorm works wonders if that's your spec, but yes the hit boxes on the smaller targets, bats in particular, need to be adjusted.

As @Xichi said the hitbox seems to be a little bit below the flying mob. Try hovering just below the mob and see if that doesn't work for now. It does need to be fixed though and is annoying. _
