So after joining a session with a friend that completed ACT 3 which i haven't reach yet (still at act 2) , i was unable to return back to my own ACT/CAMPAIGN and was stuck with a ACT 3 quest . Is it happening to anyone ? or did i do something wrong there .... please send help .

Same here, joined a friends game in Act 3 and did not do any progress there. Now I cannot get back to my Act1 game.

I am stuck in Act 2 until I can kill the end boss. Currently a level 34 caster but can not burst her down yet. Also none of the story has been told in ACT 2 for me as I joined it near the end boss. I was only 1/2 way into ACT 1 originally. I just keep grinding ACT 2 now.
Worst thing is I don't have my ultimate ability' "R" as that was the end of act 1 I am assuming.

A friend of mine invited me to his game (act 3) while I was playing my game (act 2). After that I cannot go back to my game, but stuck on act 3. I don't want to lose all that progression.
Please, let us go back to previous acts. I don't going to play this game anymore until I can finish my own history.

Same here, just ended chapter I without finishing the quest line and killing the final boss.
Now I'm in chapter II and can't return to chapter I.... =(

At least an acknowledgement in any of the threads would be nice. This is a gamebreaking bug!
Edit: Bug is still present with the latest patch.
