I am seeing this "Update Available" and you need to restart the game. I must have restarted 3 times. I still see this message and cannot play Online. What is going on ? How else can I update the game?

I am seeing the same issue as well. Just uninstalled beta and installed release version, then after steam authentication, got "Update Available" but there is nothing after exiting the game. Can only play offline.
Can anyone let me know how to play online? Is there any fix?

I had a similar problem. If you're on Steam, I think you can force it to check for an update by going into Properties -> Local Files -> Verify Integrity of Game. That has been working for me at least.

oh. never mind. it finally lets me start the game. i didn't do anything. i just tried loading the game up the 4th time and the message stopped.
