I want to buy my GF a copy of the game. I tried my copy on her PC and it runs really poorly, her PC manages to run @20fps max, and goes down to 10fps in fights. So with this performance the game is not really pleasant to play, so we were trying to find the way to lower the game graphics as much as possible so the gameplay is as fluid as possible, however the settings in the game don't really make any major changes to the effects in game. No matter how low the settings go, the game always looks bloody brilliant with particles, light rays etc. Is there a way (perhaps in config file) to completely remove some effects so she can play the game with enjoyment? We tried all the tutorials online with atributes.xml file but game won't go over 20fps.

I know her pc needs an upgrade, drivers are updated, windows is updated, fancy settings in gpu center is disabled etc, i just would like to find a way to pretty much butcher the game to a point that it looks like a PS1 game if possible, as long as the game runs fluid we are not interested graphics
